In the third quarter of 2021, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Switzerland showed varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers insights into the performance of these popular apps.

Request a ride had a consistent trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 1.4K in late June and peaking at about 1.6K in mid-September. However, its weekly active users saw a gradual decline from around 81.5K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 73K by the end of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a peak in weekly downloads in late July, reaching around 915. Despite a decline towards the end of the quarter, it maintained a steady number of active users, with a slight decrease from about 1.7K in late June to around 2.4K by the end of September.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed stable weekly downloads, with minor fluctuations between 300 and 350. Weekly active users remained consistent, starting at approximately 2.2K and ending the quarter with a slight increase to around 2.4K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a steady rise in weekly downloads, from about 187 in late June to a peak of approximately 304 by the end of September. The app also maintained a stable number of active users, hovering around 2.3K to 2.5K throughout the quarter.

Cabify had a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting at 134 in late June and dropping to around 89 by the end of September. Its weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 571 to about 598 over the same period.
